On our vacation escape off the grid to the USVI, we had a 5 hour layover in Puerto Rico before boarding a Cessna over to St Croix. Rather than sit around in a drab airport for that time we grabbed a cab and had it drop us off in old San Juan. It was really hot, especially lugging my over packed carryon. But for a few hours we took in the sights and sounds of Puerto Rico.
