In October 1999, myself and a
few business colleagues were putting on a training event at a
hotel in England. At the same time there was another group at
the hotel who was having a small trade show in the hotel. Their
small trade show dealing with military arms caused quite a stir
and brought on quite a bit of protestors. Here is a few pictures
I was able to clip off before being asked to put the camera away.
Of course you'll note by the newspaper article, that I wasn't
able to photo the stir the night before, which pretty much locked
down the hotel and their guests. However during the night of
siege there were many arrests made on a local trespassing laws.
Note the next day protestors didn't cross over the line.... keeping
just off property.
